Scheduling:  Schedule all appointments via email liz.johnson@unh.edu.  Please include number of horses schooling, desired date and time.

Parking: All schoolers are requested to park in the DIRT MOILES PARKING LOT.  This is the lot where the Show Jumping is held during the horse trials. UNH Parking would like schoolers to park in the back of the lot, close to the UNH horse trailers and white paddock fencing.  Please remove your manure before you leave.

Health Requirements of all Equine Guests: The following must be submitted prior to your schooling appointment.  You may submit one set of documentation for the season to leave on file.

  • Coggins test dated within 12 months
  • Rabies Vaccination dated with 12 months
  • Rhinopneumonitis (EHV1 and EHV4) & Influenza (Flu) Booster dated within 6 months.

Before You Go: 

  • Riders must ALL sign a release (for EVERY visit)
  • Leave in lockbox or email a copy of your horse’s Coggins (“on file” from Horse Trials does not count). Mark the rider’s name with each Coggins & vaccination records sent.
  • Helmets must be worn while mounted, safety vest are required for all XC Schooling. No exceptions.
  • At least one member of the schooling group must always have a cell phone on.

Cross Country schooling is by appointment only.  Unscheduled riders will be asked to leave the course and future permission may be denied. Dogs MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES on UNH property.   Management reserves the right to close sections of the course. The Woodman Farm section is always closed.
